We paddle through the serene Bicton Bath area where we see interesting boats and incredible houses along the river foreshore.

Pass By: Swan River, Riverside Drive Perth City Foreshore, Perth, Western Australia 6000 Australia

Along the Swan River we visit the magnificent limestone cliffs and caves of the Blackwall Reach area. Significant to the first Australian and learn the history of the area as we drift and take our time to enjoy the beauty.

Stop At: East Fremantle, East Fremantle, Fremantle, Greater Perth, Western Australia

We head back to our starting point to enjoy a coffee or tea at the wonderful yacht club cafe. We sit and enjoy the view.

    I've been living in Perth for over 20 years and I didn't know that part of Perth existed. Very interesting tour of paddling around Cliffs and Caves in Swan River and a great way to finish off with coffee at the East Fremantle Yacht Club. Highly recommended for the people in Perth before overseas travellers flood in,

    Today I went on the cliffs and caves kayak tour with a group of friends and must admit it was a fantastic experience. Our guide from Go Go Active was Matt Baldock who was very informative about the area of Bicton. Even though I grew up nearby there were things he mentioned that I wasn’t aware of. We had perfect conditions but even with a bit of wind you would be pretty protective from the wind and would still be a fairly easy paddle. Thank you to Matt and his team for making it such an enjoyable few hours on the water. It was a lot of fun and would highly recommend it and I am certain you won’t be disappointed.

    We’ve been on a few group tours with GoGo Active and will keep coming back. When you find a good thing, you stick to it. This tour operator is the best! Engaging, fun, informative, and a delight to be on a tour with. They are patient, accommodating and always ensure our day is the best it can possibly be. Matt and Sue are the best!!!

    We took our family, two adults and two kids aged 11 and 8 on Go Go Active Tours Cliffs and Caves Kayak Tour in East Fremantle on Saturday morning. Matt and Sue are both friendly and professional. Everything was ready to go on time. With windy conditions, they had taken extra precautions to ensure our safety and enjoyment, by having some extra experienced paddlers with us. Matt was patient and very informative during the tour. We enjoyed a coffee and a chat with the other tour participants at the East Fremantle Yacht Club after the tour to round off a great fun tour. We highly recommend Go Go Active tours for any active family.

    Easy pace Kayaking with lovely cave views. General information provided and a few handy tips on how to make paddling smoother and more effective. Coffee or a soft drink provide at the end of our paddling morning and a chance to have a chat. Good quality equipment was provided and we all felt very safe. Nothing was too much trouble from picking me up from the station to dropping me off. Great communications and follow up.

    We had an excellent morning with Matt kayaking from the EFYC along the Swan River to Blackwall Reach (the deepest part of the river) and back. Matt was an excellent guide and demonstrated a deep knowledge of indigenous culture and their settlement of this area. At the conclusion of the tour we enjoyed a lovely hot cuppa at the EFYC which has sweeping views over the Swan River.

    Do one of Matt’s tours you won’t be disappointed. Matt has a lovely friendly easy going manner his knowledge of local area is extensive and makes sure everyone is looked after. I did their kayak tour in fremantle well worth it. Lovely peaceful paddle.

    Great morning on the Swan with Matt. The family thoroughly enjoyed the paddle up the Swan and the cliffs were interesting, can be hard to find different things to do with a couple of teenage boys. Matt and his wife were very friendly and everything went smoothly. Coffee and a chat overlooking the river at the end made for a nice finale. Highly recommend.

    Big thank you to Matt for a fantastic kayaking tour: even though I was a novice, I had a great time. Matt explained everything in moments and it was fresh on the water & very beautiful. The whole experience was delightful. Everyone on the kayaks was so friendly and Lincoln who accompanied me for the tour did all the hard work. We were blessed by three dolphins joining us and one very thirsty black swan. I can't recommend Go Go Tours enough. Matt knows the history of the area and makes everyone feel relaxed and welcome. Our time on the water flew by and several of us swam in the clear, clean water beyond the caves. Iced coffee in the East Freo Yacht club was the reward at the end. A great trip!
